I have deleted this post as I can't download the image from flickr using the BBcode it works on the astronomyshed but not on this forum. Has some thing changed?
-
Can anyone tell me why this doesn't display? It used to when I used this like from flickr. It also works on Astronomy Shed.

25 x 300 sec @ ISO800 with full calibration frames
Image 1 is stacked in DSS and just processed in CS6
Image 2 is stacked in DSS and processed in Startools and CS6
I would be intreated to hear any views which one is better. Personally I like image 2. I couldn't get the full colour just using CS6- 8

This my best image of comet C/2019 Y4 Atlas taken on 26/03/20.
12 x 150 sec @ ISO 800 stacked in DSS processed in Startools and CS6.
This gave me a bit of a headache due to amount of green in the image so the colour balance isn't quite correct.- 4

Thanks guys I am using com3 and have used com6 and 7 I have used 2 different com port/usb adapters but still no luck. I have tried using the synscan v3 choice and the nexstar as it says in the synscan instructions but they don't work. I have just connected it via my com1 port and yipi it worked straight away.
now the only problem is my laptop hasn't got a com port on it and it doesn't seem to work with the com port/usb adapter. Any ideas on that one?

Hi All
I am new to this so here goes.
I am having major problems getting my Synscan EQ5 G/T mount to work with Stellarium. I have followed the advice given but It will not work. When I try to configure Stell scope it keeps saying "No celestron mount connected" or words to that effect. The instructions I got with the mount say that I need to chose celestron nexstar in the third party software but no mater what I do I just can't get it to work. If I had any I would be pulling my hair out.
Can anyone help please?
Dave
