Here is my first webcam capture from Wednesday 6th October 2010 from my garden in Gosport

Great first attempt Jeff, Have you had a tinker with the colours in Photoshop, you maybe able to get abit more detail etc?

Martyn. I used a cheap logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 (£10 off ebay) with the ir filter removed and an old 35mm film pot taped to it so it fits nicely in the focusing tube of my SkyWatcher Explorer 130p. I then tinkered around with the gain, fps, gamma and captured a 1min 40 sec avi in some free software called wxAstroCapture. Opened the avi up in registax which separates the avi into individual frames and then stacks all the images into a single still frame, then finishing touches in photoshop.
