sun mirror2010 08 05 1530

This image of the sun is the first taken with my Canon 1000D (1/200 ISO200), NexStar 4SE, Baader Solar Filter.

The camera body was mounted using a T piece adaptor, shooting through the scope.

This image has been mirror flipped for correct orientation.

Four sunspots are clearly visible.

Nice interesting Sun spots, gives an idea of what the solar film can do :)
