"Skull & Crossbones" nebula (NGC2467) - SHO

Located in the constellation "Puppis", the "Skull & Crossbones" nebula (NGC2467) reprocessed as SHO, Hubble palette style, narrowband image with natural colour stars with the extra 10 hours of signal integration time used in the HOO version of this object.

 

This object was imaged in narrowband across multiple nights.

The total integration time was 27 hours and 58 minutes for all three narrowband, Sulfur II, Hydrogen Alpha, Oxygen III filters and Red, Green and Blue wideband filters for the natural colour stars.

Exposed through a C8 SCT at f6.3 with a QHY268M camera cooled to -5°C.

 

Software used to capture, stack and process this image was APT 4.42, PHD 2.6.13, DSS 5.1.5, Siril 1.2.1 and Photoshop.
