Hi guys about to take the leap into ccd astrophotoraphy i think i have narrowed it down to two cameras either the atik 414 ex colour or the atik 428 ex colour .My scope is a celestron cgem 925 edge hd as i will be getting a optec lupus .62 focal reducer in the future unless celestron make one ,and would like to try hyperstar once i learn how to use the camera would this be a good choice any info would be great .cheers

I'm looking to buy a 414ex too I'm planning on the mono version so I can do NB imaging. Any reason that you are going for the colour?

Well time isn't such a factor since mono camera with LRGB requires less imaging time than OSC for the same result.

Cost can be though as you would need to buy filters.
