Skytee 2 top saddle counterweights

I'm having some problems balancing my Skymax 150 mak on the top saddle of my skytee. The problem is that when I counterweight it the counterweights are too wide and hit on the mount, I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and has a fix?

Thanks

Hi Veritas,

I have an old CG5 mount from the late 90's and it came with narrow counterweights (the two on the left in the picture) which work well on the SkyTee. As a comparison i have another CG5 from a couple of years ago and it came with much wider counterweights (shown on right). You may find an old CG5 or counterweights on Astroboot or you could put a wanted ad on astro buy and sell.

Others may have some alternative and probably better suggestions!

What mount are your counterweights from?

My weights are the CG5 ones currently. Ive found a couple of thinner ones but they have had the smaller hole for a thinner CW bar, I guess its just more looking!

Im still interested if anyone else has another solution?

Thanks
