The Worm Moon

Nearly didn't get out to capture this last night due to nap issues but I did pull myself out of it for half an hour. Seeing was not great but not terrible and for once the wind was down to a breeze.

In the end I got 27 panels and threw them all in to ICE and came out with this. I always find the full moon to be a bit flat and tricky to process without over or under doing it but there are some nice sharp contrasty bits on the edges which tell me I'm fairly close. Looking at the full res though maybe I can eek a bit more out of it.

I also took a crop of Tycho from the main image, no idea how many panels are in it though, probably a few.

Gorgeous images, Jarrod. I can see both of them without a problem and they're lovely. I was out last night as well with the small frac, the Moon and Jupiter's Io and GRS transit. Looks like the weather is picking up again with temperatures in their 20ºs and clear days and nights :hello2:

Thank you very much Rob, I missed the GRS transit waiting for the Moon to get high enough. Laziness really but it would of been a great sight too.

The weather seems to be stabilizing a bit which is nice after last weekends taste of Spring. Can't wait.

Glad you can see the images, it means it's a issue on my part so all is good.
