Mosaic success!

I figured to try something different out today by having a crack at a mosaic as I hadn't had much luck in the past with mosaics but since using flats everything is evened out a bit more so I figured to give it a shot.

I must say I am very happy with the results even if I can see a couple of areas for improvement but as a first success I'm calling it in.

This was all done in Photomerge in Photoshop which miraculously decided to work for once. This one has been processed in PS exclusively as AstraImage did not want to play with a big image like this. This image is the full size and I am resizing one for AI3.0 now so maybe I'll post that one a bit later.

11 panes all up taken with the PST mod and ASI120mm.

I think if anything my flats have let me down slightly but that is probably the downside to using the defocussed disc as my flat. Is there another method with a plastic bag or something? I'm sure I have read that somewhere.

Anyway, I hope you like and if anyone has any pointers then I'm all ears.
