Skywatcher Zoom Eyepiece

Anyone have any views on these? Specificially the 8-24mm.

For around the £50 mark it's a cheapish toe in the water for zoom EPs. I've got a Rigel 8-24mm which looks very similar. Narrow FOV at 24mm but widens up as you zoom in.

Fixed focal lengths are better (imo) but a zoom has it's uses for ease of use, quick observing, and splitting double stars.

Thanks for that. I will now purchase although in my case kiwi dollars! I believe the afov is 40-60 degrees for this one.
