C'mon Lancashire - let's have your dark sky readings!

OK, I'll admit it: though a Lancastrian at heart I've been living in the south (Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffs) for a while now.

I could never forget my roots mind you, so it pains me when I go on our dark sky survey site (MyDarkSky - SQM Map) and see that Cheshire is absolutely dominating the map with a gazillion naked eye and sky quality meter readings. That'll never do!

To start the fight back I've had a good drive round tonight and collected a few decent data points along the way.

So, Lancashire folk: it doesn't matter whether you're under the darkness of Dunsop Bridge or the bright lights of Blackpool - have a look outside and let us know what you can or can't see and help a poor exile to regain his sense of regional pride.
