Quick question. What's the best way of removing a fingerprint smudge from a filter for a clumsy clot like myself?

i'd say use a very soft cotton pad and very light soap (only to loosen up the fat from the fingerprint), no strong chemicals or anything.

take your time, if you rush it you can damage the filter.
