Upgrade focuser

Hi All,

I have a skywatcher 150p with the old rack and pinion focuser, I have looked at upgrading but I can only find 2" duel speed focuser, Will this fit to my OTA with no alterations.

I am wondering wether to spend the money on a focuser and upgrade the scope or to put the money towards another bigger scope, as I only paid £110 for my 150p with a EQ3-2 mount so surely I could find a second hand 200 or 250 with a better focuser for not much more than the focuser itself.

And in the beggining they said all you need is a simple scope to see most stuff, then when your hooked with a little glimpse of saturn they got ya, Like drug dealers they are.

I have the explorer150p with crayford focuser, its much better than the rack and pinion version, but to be honest i think i would cosider selling your scope to fund an 200p! crayford focusers are not cheap themselves.
