Mount tripod legs

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can buy the 2" steel tubular tripod legs? I missed out on some on ebay yesterday and Im still annoyed about it

Are you talking about the CG5 version? I don't think they are sold separately. I looked for one a couple of months ago, but couldn't find any. I ended up buying an ex-demo Vixen HAL130 instead. Your best bet is to check AstroBuySell. Some CG5 owner sell theirs when they upgrade to a pier.

I can't find any 2" steel CG5 at the moment but there are some Vixen tripod ad on ABS if it helps

I have a Vixen P90 tripod and while it is very stable and the wood damps vibrations very well, it isn't very tall and polar aligning is uncomfortable to say the least.
