Smooth EQ3/2 Motor operation

Have been having a play with my new SW motors but would like a little advice.

How do you adjust the mount to get really smooth operation? I know there is something holding the worm gearing which can be adjusted but not sure the correct way.

The motors seem to spin quite freely and scope appears to track quite well but there is a big delay when using the handcontroller before movement is noticed, then it shoots out of the fov.

Any help greatly recieved.

I have the same setup as you and I have recently purchased the motor drives. I too experienced the same issue and I asked my supplier about it. He said it was backlash in the gearing of the 3-2 mount and was pretty normal.
