Digital camera fogged... any advice!

Hi guys

The other night I was taking some pics with a compact digital on a Baader bracket. It was a cold, humid night and everything was misting up. Now the view screen on the camera seems to be foggy and washed out. I'm wondering if the cold and damp have affected the monitor or whether the lens might still be fogged. The camera has been inside for days now and I left it above the radiator for a few hours to see if the warm air would clear it. I have also left it for a couple of days in a seale bag with a sachet of dessicant, but still the image on the view screen looks washed out.

Has anyone experienced this before? And if so do you have any suggestions.

Many thanks

BH
