Paul G. Abel
Greetings all,After seeing Chris' drawing of Jupiter, I realized we had observed at around the same time, so here's my drawing of Jupiter and Callisto.Seeing was abysmal and it was hard to see any of the fine details at all! Still Callisto nearby made for attractive view.Best wishes,-Paul.
DarkerSky
Nice one Paul. That's interesting comparing both yours and Chris's drawings. I'm actually surprised you both managed to pin down as much as you did given the conditions. Well done.
Ceti Alpha V
Paul,Great picture. I've only read about mono colour (with a pencil or two). Will be trying same when up and running but colour will have to wait (until I have got some practice in and read another 'show me how').Ceti
chrisrnuttall
Very nice Paul. Did you add a blur to simulate the poor seeing? Mine really needed gif animation to make it swim about on-screen!I too have just been swapping between our drawings, your obs time was getting on for three quarters of an hour after mine so the details are not directly comparable but it is fun never the less.Incidentally i have seen colour in EZ ovals this apparition, i saw them a pink-ish, but recently i keep seeing large white ones.
