Astronomy gcse - math

Hey guys

I am new to astronomy and am considering doing the edexcel astronomy course near me, to learn more about astronomy. i was wondering what math i would need for this course, ... would i need a good understanding of algebra ? .. my maths is not the best , so whatever math i would need, i can learn before the course starts .. ty in adv guys .

Cannot see the course having a great deal of maths in it.

Newtonian mechanics, gravity, accelerations and I suspect a little optics but nothing I would say that is in depth.

EquallyI have no a clue what the course details are. But astronomy is a small aspect of physics and unless you get into specialist areas not overly mathematical at the level you mention.

Are there no details of the course content?
