widefield photos with lens (best exposure rates)

hey guys

well as probably most of you av noticed theirs been a massive influx of newbies into the hobby

and theres been lots n lots of questions about astrophotography so i thought when i was out in the garden last night taking some nice pictures of m42 to start a thread where we could group all the different size lens for different cameras into one place with the best exposure rates tracked and untracked

i only got 2 lens so it be most helpful if you could post in here your best experiences as well on it

On a static tripod, I've been able to manage, this is to accept only minimal trailing, such that the images will stack, I might have been able to go a little longer at 50mm

18mm - 30 seconds (EF-S 18-55 IS)

50mm - 8 seconds (EF 50II)
