Synguider Problems

Hi,

I've been using a Skywtacher Synguider for a few months now but I appear to have a bit of a bug. Normally it's great, but twice now I've encountered a problem in which the screen 'whites' out. The first time I left it alone for a few days and it came back to life, but this time it seems to be stuck like this. If I increase the noise level around 70 it clears the screen (so I know it's not just an issue with the screen itself), but this is far too high a level for any guiding or star recognition (it's recommended to keep the noise level set to around 10-15). Basically, I think it's a faulty product, but just wondered if anyone else had come across this issue or knew how I may rectify it. Shame, as it's a great product for me as I shoot with my DSLR.
