Hi SGL, wondering if anyone can have a look at this poster I have been working on, not all by myself, I hasten to add, its for a local Astro Society I'm about to start up with the help from Far Ings Nature Reserve, here in North Lincolnshire.

They asked me to change the black background as it uses a lot of ink which will bump up the costs for printing it.

Anyone got any thoughts on how I could change it?

You can change it by going to page layout tab - page background - page colour.

However, you might want to play with the background colour and make a few changes to the images. A white background with those photos looked a bit strange, may be you can try different crop or arrangement.

That said, a black background won't be much good for print. Most of the time there won't be even coverage and you may get print artifacts.
