Light Pollution filter- any good?

Been looking for a good LP filter to enhance nebulas observed from a very light polluted (Bootle 7-8) back garden.

This one (ASTRONOMIK CLS Visual Filter (1.25”)

Inch and a Quarter Filters from Astronomik - buy them from Green Witch

Looking at its transmission it would seem ideal for a small scope in LP conditions.

Has anyone any experience with its use?
