My first attempt at M33 and my first (unsupervised) serious shot at a galaxy....

Canon 1000d (modded) + 135 mm lens + astronomik EOS light pollution clip filter

Mounted on Vixen Sphinx Unguided

57 subframes of 2 minutes + 6 darks, no flats

Stacked DSS, processed in PS

Any feedback greatly appreciated. Have I managed to capture some of the M33 emission nebulae or are those pinkish spots (e.g. the one at half past five from the core....) just poorly focussed badly colour balanced stars???
