digital eye piece help

h every one was considering get in some thing like this to take pics

Digital eyepiece / camera for telescopes on eBay (end time 22-Jan-11 22:24:33 GMT)

as any one tried one of these or similar things lie this ? any help would be great on this thanks pat

I'd try and get a webcam with a CCD sensor rather than the CMOS (spelt wrong in the ad !) one. They are much better for astro imaging. That one is also not that cheap to be honest - you can get a suitable web cam for around £30.
