Best place for viewing new Chertsey / Weybridge?

Hi,

Has anyone got any thoughts about a good place for viewing in the Chertsey/Weybridge area?

I've got a friend in Godalming and was thinking that there must be somewhere near us; maybe Newlands Corner?

Hi Matt,

I'm a member at Guildford Astronomy Society and they regularly use Newlands Corner for observing events. Their observatory is at Albury Heath but have not been there yet

Newland Corner is good, you get a few headaches from amorous couples driving around but apart from that its fine.

You might be interested in a group I am putting together called Surrey Observers, its an informal gathering who will meet up for observing using Ranmore Common near Dorking.

If the group interests you click on the Community button up top and select Social Groups.
