Eq mount for skyliner 150 dob.

Having no luck in selling my dob I've decided to possibly upgrade the mount to an eq. Is this doable? What mount would ne suitable and would I need rings ? my concern is the length of the ota, is it to big coming from a dob mount for an eq ?

My main reason for wanting the change is struggling to squat or kneel to look through the ep's.

a EQ3-2 would be the smallest and the length of the scope does effect the balance, i think it has the same spec as the 150PL so you would need rings and dovetail etc.

Thanks. You say eq3-2, as the smallest mount, would that suffer with the wind at all ? What would the next one up be? Or would it be overkill ?

I'd say an EQ5 minimum. The tube of the 150Skyliner is the same as the 150PL that i have and its looooong! The extra moment it exerts on the mount would make an EQ3 very wobbly
