Anyone up for a meet at Butser ancient farm tomorrow night (2nd Jan).

FREE QUADRANTID METEOR SHOWER OBSERVING - 6PM START

Clear Skies - 0% Cloud -3C so wrap up warm.

Its in the actual Ancient farm itself (Right next to the Round Houses)

Unfortunately of course the Quadrantids are on the 4th Jan and the peak lasts about 6 hours with not much either side. So a couple of days early I think :-)

Well we saw about 3 or 4 (One nice bright one) but had great views of Jupiter, the Orion nebula and the pleiades to name but a few.

Nice to meet those that came along.
