So as a spare of the moment binge I just won a Canon EOS EF AF 75-300mm lens off ebay for $105 USD. Not entirely sure I needed it but the price seemed right, I think..:(.

I guess I'm after any reports from anyone that has one, is it a useful addition to my kit or not and what sort of results I may get using it?

What are the good points and bad type of thing?
