meade etx 105 pe

Just as I was about to get an early Xmas prezzy, I learn from my local supplier that Meade are no longer making this scope - the phrase used was Meade have withdrawn it. Why, is there anything wrong with the model as it seemed to be a very handy sized portable set up. Should I still purchase one of the many that are still advertised or go for something similar?

If you purchase it from a reputable dealer then all warranties should and will apply.

If memory serves me correctly our very own Steve has one of these for sale privately (give him a pm) you never know Christmas might come a little earlier than you thought. (its gotta be worth a try)
