Telrad Position?

Recommended Posts

Just got a Telrad Red Dot Finder for my Skywatcher 200P.

The instructions say to position it in suitable position on the tube.

Being a beginner at this I was looking for some advice on the best position this would be, next to the finder? or would it be better at the opposite end?.

Would be interested to hear what other Telrad users have done.

Thanks again for your help.

i wont post mine again then....i was going to put it on the other side of the optical finder, but that means going around the other side of the scope all the time, so as you can see from the pics all i did was just move the optical around a bit to allow the telrad to fit.
