Canon with winows 7 professional

Hi, I just bought a Canon 300d last week, now when I try to upload some terrestrial photos the camera will not upload them, I am running windows 7 professional, has any one any ideas what to do to resolve this ,I do know that the camera manuals states windows xp but I was lead to believe 7 professional worked xp.

in the camera menu change the commumication from normal to ptp

that worked for me with my 10d in windows 7

Hi altec, thanks for that, found that if I remove card from camera the put it in computer CARD READER ! it does the biz.

Well you it just proves i'm not a computer nerd, just didn't engage brain-lol
