Had a go at imaging Venus at 07:45UT this morning. I was aware that I wouldn't get any cloud detail, only the phase, which as you can see is this crescent.

I was really after Saturn, but it get getting swamped by cloud. Venus luckily was in a small clear patch of sky.

Celestron CPC925GPS, Neximage and a Skywatcher 2 x 2" ED barlow.

Not too bad Brinders. An RGB align in Regi will get rid of the colour fringe and a slight histo stretch will brighten the planet without affecting the background.
