Celestron Lens Pen - OK for coated lens?

Just a quick question to see if anyone is using this pen.

I know some cleaners aren't suitable for coated lens but the pen looks very handy.

I have one in most pockets on my camera bag, so long as they are the original ones they are invaluable.

They sometimes come up on the bay at great prices so its well worth stocking up.

I love them and so do all my lenses.

They're on £9 but aren't they meant to never dry out?

It uses a powder to remove any moisture or smears, make sure to use a blower first.

They will eventually run out of powder but you will always be able to use the brush end for any grit that a blower cant shift.

Ta Simon. I realise they use carbon and how they work... but didn't realise they ran out. Although that should have been obvious! lol

I've done a little research and basically Celestron and loads of other companies buy these OEM from 'LENSPEN'. And they're much MUCH cheaper from the original brand.
