Some steady seeing on Saturday night for a while gave me a nice view of Jupiter. Unfortunately, my local conditions were not that great, as by this time Jupiter is close to neighbouring houses and their central heating vents, which gave moments of completely disastrous seeing!!

That said, I got enough of the steadiness to get a sketch down:

System I @ 199 degrees

Most notable were the prominences moving into the EZ off the NEB. They both seemed to shoot off in opposite directions, and this ggave rise to a large faint oval in the EZ. The SEB was faint, but a slightly darker area was seen to curve down towards the EZ promienence on the following side of the CM. The NTB was seen as a thin hairline feature.
