My new box

Always on the look out for little jobs for the father-in-law to do to keep him busy, I tasked him with producing a new EP box for me. No great instructions, just that it needed room for accessories and space for x number of EPs (both 2" and 1.25"). I suspected him to just come up with a tool box and say 'stick it in there', but he thought a little 'outside the box'.

Rather than build a box from scratch, he did buy a tool box, but fitted it out inside with some anti slip mat and a MDF shelf to keep my EPs upright and safe. Nothing too technical, but the end result is very good, it saved me having to do it and he was pleased at the distraction: -

Lifting the lid - the original tray for filters, bits and bobs and a SPC900

The bottom layer. Space enough for current EPs - 2" and 1.25" - a storage box for cables and wires with more filters under, a LX SPC900 and an Orion SSSI.

My LX mod SPC900. Someone else did the mod for me, but I boxed it up. Just waiting on the USB cable to try it out.
