Hi

Is it advised on Skywatcher Dobs to upgrade the mirror collimation springs? I have found the collimation is a bit dickie.

I see FLO recommend the upgrade for Revelation dobs and the only springs I can find are for meade LBs which is the same mirror set up as in the revelation. Is it just a common problem to LB's mirror cells.

Thanks for any advice

LB Replacement springs made a difference to the stability of the primary mirror for my 12" BD Skywatcher. I have also noticed that the secondary mirror is not very stable due to the flimsy spider vanes and this causes more collimation problems than the primary. Be careful not to overtighten these vanes!
