Uranus: 29/09/10

Greetings All!

Here's an observation I made of Uranus on the 29th September. The disk was fairly uniform in brightness- the EZ seems to be the same intensity as the rest of the disk. There was a subtle darkening in the southern hemisphere.

The detail seems to have vanished!!!!! At the moment I don't know whether there is a variation in the intensity of the EZ or whether I have been fooled by Uranus! I'm reasonably confident that the EZ was brighter earlier in September, but I can't be certain! As soon as I know, you'll know!
