Jupiter on 26th September...

Greetings all!

Here's a drawing of Jupiter I made last night. Seeing was around AIII-IV and there were frequent patchy clouds. To be honest, I only really went out to align the telescope with Polaris now that my new concrete floor is down- and what a difference a think concrete floor makes- the whole observatory some how feels very strong indeed.

Even in average conditions the bright rifts in the NEB are unmistakable. So to is the bright white oval in the SSTZ which seems to be disrupting the SSTB somewhat.

How lucky we are to live in a solar system with this many diverse worlds. Hope you are all appreciating them.

Best wishes,

-Paul.
