A nice view of Io (initially) and then it's shadow transiting the disk along with the GRS.

Seeing was poor but it's the first time in weeks I've had a clear night so I made the best of it.

I was surprised at how white Io looked against Jupiter in the first drawing.

Seeing III, temp around 4' - definitely Autumn !!

Some excellent detail there Dweller. Good to get the GRS and transit. I was surprsied too at the brightness of Io on the limb last time I saw it enter a transit.

Been out on Jupiter this evening, but poor seeing, patchy cloud and a gusty northerly over this way have conspired against me
