simon84
I'm outside trying out my QHY5 finder guider for the first time.I've loaded up PHD, focused the finder guider, swung the scope round to my target, and then gone in and started looping to get the qhy5 all set up.I've taken a dark, but i cant click phd, I'm running the mount from the handset as I CBA using EQMOD without a wireless controller as its too much aggro guessing which direction to click and the go back to the EP to see if its in the right place.Do I still need to select a scope when using the handset and if so which one?Thought this would be pretty straight forward tonight but so far nada. shaunster
I assume you have calibrated?Should be simple, connect to camera, connect to mount (using correct setting for ST4 port), start taking exposures to find a guide star, calibrate then guide..
