Here are a couple of pictures of my new old Royal Astro 76. I bought it for $50 off Craigslist. I wasn't expecting much from the scope, but the mount looked pretty good. After a few hours of work and about $50 for .965 EPs, finder scope, and a new diagonal, I have a great scope added to my collection.

The scope is wonderful, but it is the mount that really shines. I have never experienced an EQ mount that works so well. It is almost like a dob, You just push it to the target, and it automatically rotates in whatever axis it needs to, and stays until you clamp it. I have no intention of motorizing it, as I have my other EQ's. I like the slow-motion cables.
