Big thanks to Bern at Modern Astronomy for getting the stuff delivered over the me in Belfast in 23 hours (from phone call to doorstep)

Laser collimated my scope, and my Dad's, both were a little out, but the laser collimator makes it really really easy, esp using youtube videos as a guide to follow.

I've not yet got the Baader filter onto the scope yet, but hopefully it'll reach focus ok. I plan to do a before and after comparison if the clouds play ball.

And the H-alpha filter, well it finally means I can do some imaging even if the Moon is up, cos it seems that most of the clear nights we get here usually coincide with a pretty bright Moon!
