Cat3mechc
HiIve put the Celestron Nexstar 8SE inability to sus Hand controller on the back burner 4 now ,Exchanging it for a Celestron CPC 800 XLT, GPS it has same controller, yes I know ! Ha sort it laterRight, question is power supply ,I think it calls for a (Stable 12v dc 1.5 amp regulated supply)I have a nearly new hardly used (my old CB) Unit that may do the job ?Ive measured the (regulated supply)It gives reading 13.3 v @ 5-7 Amp1.3 volts over the 12v but if I ran the Scope via the 12V socket in my Volvo it would probably read 13v as wellWhat do you think 12v nothing but 12vor would 13.3v unit be ok ? MarkF
Wait for others to confirm, but I am sure a fully charged 12v battery kicks out 13.8v.
