Common SCT Focal Reducer on Equinox 100

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys!

In some adverts for the Skywatcher Equinox 100, it says you can use 'a common SCT focal reducer' to reduce the focal length. I have both the meade f/6.3 and f/3.3 reducers, and want to get an Equinox 100......the reducers are threaded both sides - are these suitable, and I'm guessing I would need some sort of adapter?? :p

Thanks!!!

For the scope end you'd need a push fit SCT to 2" adapter. The FF/FR will screw into this and the 2" push fit bit will fit into the focuser.

At work at present so not sure what the rear thread on the FF/FR is.
