Focuser Upgrade

I have just picked up this.

William optics 2" crayford focuser for SCT on eBay (end time 25-Jul-10 22:15:35 BST)

Very nice piece of kit

i can work out how to fit it without a problem, but what i am wondering about is, at what focus do I leave the scopes focus? How do I mirror lock?

I have the twin speed version that I use on my 9.25" Celestron. I still need to use the scope's focus knob but set the crayford focuser at about half way, then do a rough focus with the SCT, and finally fine tune with the crayford.

One disadvantage I have found is that I cannot get focus with the crayford when using a focal reducer.
