Some nice, basic images

Hi everyone,

These pictures were taken early in the summer with my dad's compact camera. I did a bit of editing to bring out the stars, and hey presto! Some nice amateur constellation shots. The credit goes to my Dad as he made the captures, but I will post them here. All are 15-second exposures.

Good representation of 'eyeball' views on a clearish night .

Maybe you should have left the tree or bush sitting in the bottom left corner of the Lyra image to give depth to the view.

Yep. Thats the idea.......... if you don't mined loosing a few stars try blurring the background on a separate layer then merge for a 'smoother ' finish.......... something along the lines of the attached.

p.s. Streak could be a shooting star.
