A warm, humid, breezy day with much cloud, occasional light showers & only the odd short sunny interval. Solar disc has several interesting features:

Filaments near the north east limb:

1021 UT. Solarscope 60, 2.5x Powermate, DMK21

Small "knotted" plage in the south east:

1039 UT. Solarscope 60, 2.5x Powermate, DMK21

Complex plage with filament in the north east:

1020 UT. Solarscope 60, 2.5x Powermate, DMK21

as well as the active area which contains a single, medium sized, well formed sunspot.

Cloud prevented me from imaging in white light or obtaining close ups of the prominences, but here are the CaK and Ha overviews:

1011 UT. Coronado PST CaK, prime focus, DMK41

1017 UT. Solarscope 60, 0.5x focal reducer, DMK41

Transparency moderate but with much interference from fast moving mid-level cloud. Seeing moderate. Temperature 22C, wind SW force 4-5.
