webcam of the moon

what is the least you need to take webcam images of moon?.............

given webcam witn adaptor/PC /astrocapture/registax/10"Newt/eq6......

do you need tracking? How do you set up webcam?

it's dead easy as the moon is huge!!!

stick webcam in eyepeice holder connect to laptop then point at moon. then once huge bright object on screen play with focus till you get it. i've done it with my 10" dob so i have to nudge to kep up. ur eq6 will be easier. polar align then either engage drive or slowly turn knob to keep up with movement.

I was blown away by the image you get. Think it's about a 5mm eyepeice if I remember but fills ur screen.

Astrocapture does the job well to.
