Quick negative sketch of C/2008 K5 McNaught

I made a quick attempt at sketch while viewing this comet. It was a little bit brighter than C/2006 W3 which I observed last September. It was fairly easy to find by following the finder charts from here

It was located near to a fairly bright 6th magnitude star in Camelopardalis and an asterism of 7th magnitude star shape approximately shaped like a sideways pointing 'y' which was easily visible in the finder scope.

Sketch was carried out with an Antares Speers-Waler 14mm at 85x Mag with a FOV 0.94 Degrees.

Nice one Tom. K5McNaught has been my favourite comet in quite a while. I think its relatively quick movement against the background has been very interesting to watch.
