Which Mount?

Im in a dilemma here.

For easy of use, goto tracking etc, I have found the 4SE a nice piece of kit, This is due to the Mount been so easy to use.

The Meade fork with wedge is plain and simple a Pig for alignment and a few people have already said to not bother going any further with it.

So here I am with a great OTA but having Mount issues.

I believe my solution is to purchase a SE Mount with Tripod (the one used on the 8SE) and put a dovetail on the Meade. added advantage I already have a GPS for it also.

Or I could go for the CG-5 GT Goto as my GPS also works on that (I have the adaptor)

Any thoughts on this?

Hi,

I think the CG-5 GT is probably the better mount. the Se mount's tripod does not have 2" legs. FLO are selling the CG-5 GOTO for less than 500 quid, not much more than the Se mount.
