Rhea's Shadow!!!

Greetings all!!!!

I've been making plenty of observations but I haven't posted in a while due to having lots on!

Anyhow, last night I decided to get a quick observation of Saturn. Seeing wasn't great, but there were a few good moments when I noticed a dark spot in the STB. Imagine my suprise why I checked with WinJUPOS to find out it was the shadow of Rhea.

Alas, Rhea itself was not visible due to the conditions (I have seen it against the disk in better conditions), but here's a drawing of the event!

Hope everyone's been observing Saturn- is it me or has the ash cloud really effected the seeing in a bad way?!

All best wishes,

-Paul.
